The Positioning Splint Palm Protector is designed to support correct hand positioning for people recovering from hand trauma or surgery, or those at risk of developing finger contractures. Suitable for long-term positioning, it helps prevent the fingers from curling into the palm, reducing the likelihood of skin breakdown and discomfort.
The splint features a pre-rolled foam insert that sits comfortably within the palm, making it quick and easy to apply. An integrated strap with finger separators weaves gently between the fingers, helping to maintain an abducted hand position while preventing the fingers from pressing into the palm.
A soft sherpa fabric combined with a closed-cell foam lining provides excellent comfort during wear, while the supportive construction offers gentle positioning without creating unnecessary pressure. The Positioning Splint Palm Protector is available in dedicated left- and right-handed versions for an accurate fit.
