Product Details
The Bellavita Nova Bath Lift combines powered lifting with a reclining backrest to help people with reduced mobility continue enjoying a conventional bath. It gently lowers the user into the bath at the touch of a button before smoothly raising them back to the top for easier transfers out.
A particularly useful feature of the Bellavita Nova is its exceptionally low 6.5cm (2.6") minimum seat height. This allows the user to sit closer to the bottom of the bath for greater water immersion and also makes the lift suitable for many shallower baths. The backrest can be electrically reclined by up to 50°, providing a more relaxed bathing position, while its ergonomic shape offers additional lumbar support.
For even more bathing space, the patented backrest can be removed by a carer once the lift has reached its lowest position. This allows the user to recline against the bath itself, increasing available space and water immersion. A front hygiene cut-out in the seat also improves access for personal washing.
Stability is provided by a patented dual-column lifting system and four 3D suction feet that securely attach the unit to the bath. The waterproof, floatable handset features simple colour-coded controls, an emergency stop button and a charge indicator. An important safety system prevents the lift from lowering if there is insufficient battery power available to raise the user back to the top.
Despite supporting users up to 170kg (26.8 st), the Bellavita Nova weighs only 9.9kg including its handset. It also separates quickly into two lightweight sections, making installation, removal, storage and transportation much easier for users and carers.
The smooth plastic construction is straightforward to clean and the bath lift can be used with or without covers. Washable covers are available in White or Blue
