Product Details
The Vernagel Absorbent Powder Sachets are designed to manage and solidify bodily fluids, making them ideal for preventing spillages and reducing the risk of cross-infection.
Each sachet contains 7 grams of super absorbent polymer, which can absorb up to 1.2 litres of fluid, turning it into a dry, semi-solid gel for easy disposal. This helps to minimise residual odours and ensures a safer, cleaner environment.
Put one sachet of Vernagel into a bedpan, slipper pan, male or female urinals, vomit bowl or a washbowl before use to solidify liquid and prevent spills. Do not open the sachet.
Dispose of single-use item and Vernagel into a Vernacare disposal unit or empty into a toilet or slop hopper.
Trials carried out in 4 healthcare facilities confirmed that by preventing spills Vernagel sachets would save an average ward £2600 a year on laundry costs.
