The Atlas Bariatric Shower Trolley is a premium bariatric care solution designed for showering, patient transfers, changing and clinical treatment. Engineered to meet the demands of hospitals, specialist care facilities and bariatric care environments, it provides a stable and comfortable platform while helping to reduce manual handling for carers.
Available in both Junior and Standard Adult models, the trolley offers an impressive maximum user weight of up to 450kg (70 st) on the adult version. Its electrically powered dual actuators provide smooth, quiet height adjustment, allowing carers to position the trolley at a comfortable working height while minimising disruption for the user. Powered by a rechargeable battery, the lifting mechanism enables effortless adjustment without relying on mains power during use.
The trolley has been designed with two operating positions to suit different stages of care. It can remain flat to simplify transfers onto and off the trolley, including transfers using a mobile sling hoist, before being tilted into a Trendelenburg position for showering, transportation or clinical procedures when required. This flexibility allows carers to adapt the trolley quickly to changing care requirements while maintaining user comfort and safety.
A generously padded mattress provides a comfortable support surface during extended use, while integrated drainage at the foot end allows water to flow away efficiently during showering. Fold-down side rails offer reassurance during transport while providing unobstructed access when transferring or treating the user.
Constructed from durable powder-coated and zinc-plated steel, the Atlas Bariatric Shower Trolley is built to withstand the rigours of demanding healthcare environments.
