This multi-purpose Shelford Support Frame can be used singularly or in pairs.

It provides a versatile support aid that can be positioned next to toilets, beds or chairs.

The user can use the rail as a leverage point when transferring and for stability when using the toilet.

A powder-coated steel construction makes the Shelford Support Frame strong and corrosion resistant.

Both right and left-handed versions are available.

In order to be effective the frame must be screwed into the floor.

This product is made to order in the UK. As such, please allow around 1 to 2 weeks for delivery.

   We needed something to help my husband, a stroke survivor, on and off the toilet, which is too close to the wall for the usual surrounding frame. On our uneven tiles, he did find that, unlike the previous review, and as per the company's own instructions, it needs to be firmly screwed into the floor, or it tips. Once fixed in place, it's solid as a rock, unobstrusive and just the right height. Perfect.

   We needed to order the shelford support frame frame which my paraplegic husband could use in the bathroom when we are away and staying in hotels. A complete frame was no good as he uses a wheelchair and has to be able to transfer onto the toilet, so this single frame is ideal for our purposes, just to give him something to lean on whilst transferring. The frame is solid and well-made, and fits beautifully into our boot, so we can take it with us everywhere we go. The website is easy to navigate, the price was acceptable, and delivery was quick and trouble-free. I would give the company, and the product, a 5 star rating.
