The Economy Dressing Stick is a simple, practical dressing aid designed to help people with reduced flexibility, limited strength or restricted range of movement. It can be particularly useful for stroke survivors or anyone who finds bending, stretching or reaching difficult.
Featuring different shaped wire hooks at each end, the stick allows garments to be hooked, pulled or pushed into position. It can assist with putting on jackets, shirts, skirts or trousers, and may also help with pulling up socks or catching small zips that are otherwise hard to reach.
With regular use and practice, it can support greater independence when dressing and reduce the need for assistance.

Review by H A'court Posted on 14/01/2015 08:16:19Firstly, customer service was excellent as I had to phone for a replacement as the first stick that arrived had snapped in the post but there was no problem and another was sent out very quickly. The dressing stick was for my mum who has severe rheumatoid arthritis (in fact we both have it), she finds it invaluable as it gives her independence and confidence to do things herself, especially her coat. The dressing stick is good value for money, easy to use and it is light. It also has its own hanging hook and can be placed anywhere near by for easy reach. -

I bought the longer one and it's so easy to use and the best item i've bought, I can now get dressed/undressed in half the time. The dressing stick is a winner I can now do things for myself rather than ask for help. So much more independent. -
