Product Details

The Dorking Stocking Aid is excellent value for money and is a simple device to help put on socks or stockings.

If bending down or reaching your feet is difficult, this could be an invaluable dressing aid.

It has a shaped, strong, flexible, plastic gutter with long pull tapes attached to the top.

The sock or stocking is fed over the gutter and held firmly by the side notches, creating a tunnel.

The user then inserts their foot into the open end of the Dorking Stocking Aid, which is then pulled up and over the lower leg by the tapes.

Tape length: 920mm (36 inches).

Gutter length: 229mm (9 inches).

    Found this item helpful in putting on socks as osteoarthritis in my hip and knee made it impossible to lift my right leg up enough to reach my foot properly. The item works but could be smaller and more flexible - perhaps offer two size options for customer choice.

    Bought because I have just had a hip operation and tested it out on my good leg first to ensure I was it worked properly. it took me a couple of goes before I got the technique right to pull on my socks.
