This Etac Socky Long Stocking Aid assists with putting on tights, stockings and socks of any length.
It is an aid for people whose limited flexibility, dexterity or strength makes it difficult to put on socks or tights in the conventional way.
Those with impaired hand function may also find it a useful dressing aid.
The Etac Socky Long Stocking Aid comprises a long plastic sheet placed under a pre-folded nylon fabric with a handle on top.
This handle enables the device to be pulled upwards, while the plastic sheet slides on the floor and ensures that the sock or stocking stays firmly in position.
With practice, this aid to putting on stockings, socks or tights can provide invaluable day-to-day assistance with your dressing routine.
