The design of this pair of Elbow Crutches With Comfy Handles was developed by the Bath Institute of Mechanical Engineering to ensure maximum user comfort.

The wide, anatomically shaped handgrips spread pressure evenly, making them more comfortable to use than regular crutches.

They are popular with those who need to use crutches for sustained periods and find that standard handles cause pain.

Made from rigid, light aluminium, the Elbow Crutches With Comfy Handles are among the most popular in the Essential Aids range.

They are suitable for users weighing up to 127kg (20 stone) and available in to sizes.

Each have adjustable lower and upper shafts.


Medium size

Adjustable handgrip height: 580-835mm (23-33 inches).

Cuff to handgrip measurement: 200-275mm (8-11 inches).


Adult size

Adjustable handgrip: 680-935mm (27-37 inches).

Cuff to handgrip measurement: 200-275mm (8-11 inches).

    After snapping one of my cuffs on my crutches, decided to order a new pair as I thought it would be quicker than waiting for the doctor to refer me to occupational health, I have to have comfy grips as I have problems with my wrists and hands, I ordered these along with other stuff on a thursday and they were here by monday, they're lovely and comfy grip and I don't get the obvious rattle when walking with them so I can now use stealth mode and sneak up on people lol , I also feel I walk a bit more upright with these, so pleased it's a really quick service, highly recommend x ??
