The Upeasy Powered Lifting Cushion is designed to help people sit down and stand up from a chair with greater ease, confidence, and independence. It converts most standard chairs, including recliners, into a powered lifting seat without the need for permanent installation. This makes it particularly useful for people with limited mobility, reduced strength, or balance concerns, both at home and when travelling.
The powered lifting mechanism supports the user’s full weight during the transition from sitting to standing and back again, reducing strain on the legs and joints. Operation is simple and controlled, requiring only gentle pressure on the power levers before resting the hands on the chair arms as the cushion lifts smoothly. The rise stops automatically at its maximum height, or can be halted at any point by light downward pressure on the levers, allowing the user to remain in control throughout the movement.

He has had a knee problem for some years that made it necessary to heave himself out of chairs with his arms. Huge effort and willpower is involved as he is very tall and (while not overweight) quite heavy. The strain eventually caused a frozen shoulder on one side. The other shoulder, now doing all the work, seemed to be going the same way, which was very alarming. He is amazed at this device - he can get out of a chair with ease, and no pushing with his arms required. (your service was also very good - it came within 24hrs of being ordered.) thanks for this - an absolute gem!
