The Carina 350EM Mobile Hoist provides a versatile lifting solution for users weighing up to 165kg (26 st). Its relatively narrow dimensions make it practical for manoeuvring in rooms where space is limited, while the broad lifting range allows it to accommodate many common transfer situations in the home, hospital or care environment.

With a lifting range of 58-168cm (22.8-66.1"), the Carina 350EM can be used for both low and high transfers. It is suitable for seated and supine lifting and can assist with transfers to and from the floor, beds and chairs. The base legs can be manually widened when additional clearance is required around furniture, with an external width ranging from 68-108cm (26.8-42.5").

For storage or transportation, the hoist can be folded down using a straightforward process that requires no tools or loose components. This is particularly useful where storage space is restricted or the hoist needs to be moved between different rooms or locations. At 34.5kg, the manual-base version is also slightly lighter than the electrically widening Carina 350EE.

The Carina 350EM is supplied with a 45cm (17.7") SlingBar M. This two-point aluminium sling bar incorporates safety latches to help keep the sling straps correctly located during lifting. A range of compatible Handicare slings and lifting accessories can be used with the hoist, allowing the lifting arrangement to be selected according to individual support and transfer requirements.

Maintenance-free 10cm (3.9") encapsulated twin castors help the hoist move smoothly and are designed to minimise the accumulation of dust and dirt around the castor mechanism. Built-in charging keeps battery charging convenient between uses, while a quick-reference guide on the hoist keeps important operating information close at hand.

An emergency stop is positioned on the control box, with both manual and electrical emergency lowering available if required. Supplied complete with its hand control, SlingBar M, built-in charging and maintenance-free castors, the Carina 350EM arrives with the principal components required for everyday lifting already included.
