The Amputee Net Sling provides specialised support for users with high or double leg amputations during transfers between a bed, wheelchair and other seated positions. Its smaller seat opening helps accommodate the particular positioning requirements of amputee users, including situations where a conventional divided-leg sling may not ordinarily be the preferred choice.

Support extends from the tailbone up to the shoulders and underneath the legs, creating a secure, upright seated position during lifting. The shoulder-high back provides substantial support through the torso, while the divided leg sections can be positioned individually to help achieve an appropriate fit around the user.

Made from polyester net, this version is especially practical when transfers involve bathing or showering. The open structure allows water to drain through the sling rather than being retained by the fabric and also enables it to dry more quickly after becoming wet. Greater airflow through the material can also make the sling more comfortable in situations where breathability is beneficial.

For carers, the divided leg design allows the sling to be applied and removed without leaving the user sitting on it following the transfer. A pocket incorporated into the lower edge provides a useful grip point during positioning and application.

The Amputee Net Sling comes in six sizes from XS to XXL, with recommended user weight ranges extending from 20kg to 180kg. All sizes are rated to a safe working load of 300kg (47.2 st), but the individual size guidance should always be used when selecting the correct sling.
