The In Chair Hammock Sling is designed to provide comfortable full body support during hoist transfers and when seated for longer periods. Made from breathable spacer fabric, the sling gently moulds to the user’s body while allowing air to circulate, helping improve comfort when the sling is left in place.
This sling provides support to the back and shoulders while maintaining a secure seated position. It is suitable for general transfers and can also be used as an in-situ sling, making it useful in situations where removing the sling after each transfer may be impractical.
The spacer fabric helps minimise pressure points while maintaining supportive positioning for the user. Padded leg sections help distribute weight more evenly and improve comfort during lifting.
An integrated pommel provides additional security and helps maintain dignity during transfers by supporting leg positioning. The sling attaches to most standard patient hoists using loop fittings and can be machine washed at high temperatures, making it suitable for environments where hygiene and infection control are important.
