The Universal Deluxe Sling is designed to provide secure and comfortable support during general patient transfers. It offers full body and shoulder support along with additional femur and hip support, making it suitable for users who have good head control but require assistance when being moved with a patient hoist.
The sling is made from durable polyester fabric that is suitable for regular use in both home care and professional healthcare environments. Its angled leg sections are padded to provide greater comfort and improved positioning while helping distribute weight more evenly during lifting.
Slide sheet fabric on the leg sections helps the sling move more easily into position and can assist with repositioning during transfers. Hip support and the contoured leg design help maintain a stable seating position while the user is suspended.
Positioning handles allow carers to make small adjustments safely and accurately. A dignity pocket provides additional coverage during transfers to help maintain privacy.
The sling uses loop attachments that are compatible with most standard patient hoists. It can be machine washed at temperatures up to 90°C, making it suitable for environments where infection control is essential.
Available in four sizes with colour-coded bindings to help carers quickly identify the correct size.
