Product Details
The Bariatric Sling is specifically developed for lifting larger and heavier users, with a recommended user weight range of 200kg - 350kg (31.5 st - 55.1 st). Its heavy duty design has a safe working load of 570kg (89.8 st), providing the capacity required for specialist bariatric moving and handling situations.
Six suspension points help distribute the load across the sling during lifting. Two loops are positioned at the back, with a further four suspension points underneath the legs. This arrangement spreads support across a wider area and helps achieve a stable, comfortable lifting position.
Rather than using divided leg sections, the sling has an undivided design that provides continuous support beneath the legs. The shoulder-high back extends from the hollows of the knees up to the shoulders and underneath the legs, positioning the individual in a slightly reclined seated posture during lifting.
Made from polyester, the Bariatric Sling can be used with compatible mobile or stationary patient lifts.
