The Basic Sling is a versatile patient lifting sling intended for common transfer situations, including moving between a bed and wheelchair. It is particularly suited to individuals who have reduced torso stability but are able to maintain good control of their head independently.

Its shoulder-high back supports from the tailbone up to the shoulders, providing greater support around the trunk without extending behind the head. Underneath, divided leg sections provide support around the legs and help maintain an upright seated posture throughout the lift.

The divided design also makes the sling practical for carers to position and remove. It can be applied without requiring the user to sit directly on the sling and removed again once the transfer has been completed. A pocket incorporated into the lower edge provides an additional grip point to assist with positioning.

Made from durable polyester, this standard version is suitable for routine patient transfers in domestic and professional care environments. Seven sizes are available from XXS to XXL, allowing the sling to accommodate a broad range of body sizes.

Each size has a safe working load of 300kg (47.2 st), although the recommended user weight and individual body proportions should be considered when selecting the correct size.
