The Classic Net Sling provides gentle, continuous support during everyday patient transfers and is particularly suited to people who can maintain their own head position. It can be used for common seated transfers, such as moving between a bed and wheelchair, while helping the individual remain comfortably supported in an upright seated posture.

Rather than using separate divided leg sections, the Classic Net Sling has an undivided design that creates a continuous supportive surface beneath the body. Support extends from the hollows of the knees, underneath the legs and up to the shoulders. The sling is intended to remain beneath the user in the chair following the transfer, avoiding the need to remove individual leg sections afterwards.

This continuous design can be particularly beneficial for users with painful joints, where reducing the amount of repositioning required before and after a transfer may be preferable. The shape can also accommodate users with high leg amputations, making it suitable for a broader range of individual transfer requirements.

Made from polyester net, the sling is soft and breathable, allowing air to circulate through the material. Its open construction also allows water to drain readily, making the sling practical where it may become wet and helping it dry more quickly afterwards.

Five sizes are available from XS to XL, with recommended user weight ranges from 20kg to 140kg. Every size has a safe working load of 300kg (47.2 st).
