Product Details
The Flexible Net Sling provides a high level of support while closely following the contours of the body during lifting. Its flexible construction is particularly suited to users with body deformities or other positioning requirements where a more adaptable sling shape can provide greater comfort and support.
A high back supports the user from the tailbone, around the body and up over the head, providing additional stability for people who require extra head support. The sling positions the user in a slightly reclined seated posture and can be used for common lifting situations, including seated transfers between a bed and wheelchair.
Unlike slings with divided leg sections, the Flexible Net Sling uses an undivided design that creates a continuous supportive surface beneath the body and legs. It can remain beneath the user following the transfer when seated in a wheelchair, moulded seat or similar chair, reducing the need to reposition the user to remove the sling.
This combination of flexible material, extensive body support and an undivided shape makes the sling particularly suitable for users with deformities, painful joints or leg amputations. The polyester net construction conforms readily around the body while allowing air and water to pass through the material.
Five sizes are available from XS to XL, with recommended user weight ranges provided as a sizing guide. All sizes have a safe working load of 300kg (47.2 st).
