Created specifically to make toileting transfers easier for people with more complex support needs, the Flexible Toileting Sling incorporates a commode opening within an undivided sling design. This provides the necessary access for personal care without sacrificing the extensive support offered around the body, legs and head.

The sling is made from flexible polyester net that follows the user's shape rather than holding the body in a rigid position. This adaptability makes it particularly useful where deformities, painful joints or leg amputations can make positioning in a more conventional sling difficult.

Its high back extends from the tailbone to above the head, providing additional support for users who cannot comfortably maintain their head position independently. Support also continues beneath the legs, with the overall shape positioning the individual in a slightly reclined seated posture while suspended.

Unlike toileting slings with separate leg sections, this model has an undivided lower section. It creates a continuous supporting surface and can be left beneath the user in a wheelchair, moulded seat or similar seating after the transfer where appropriate, reducing the amount of repositioning required.

Five sizes allow the sling to accommodate different body sizes and proportions, from XS through to XL. Recommended weight ranges are provided to assist with size selection, while every version has a safe working load of 300kg (47.2 st).
