Product Details
The High Back Net Sling with Reinforced Leg Supports is designed for a wide range of everyday lifting situations, including seated transfers between a bed and wheelchair. Its high-backed shape provides additional upper-body and head support, making it particularly useful for people who require more support than a standard sling provides.
Support extends from the tailbone, around the upper body and head, and underneath the legs. This positions the user in a slightly reclined seated posture during lifting. Removable plastic stays add stability around the head area and can be taken out when they are not required.
Divided leg sections make the sling easier for a carer to position and remove, with the user not required to remain sitting on the sling between transfers. The leg supports are reinforced for additional support, while a pocket along the lower edge provides a useful handhold when positioning the sling.
As well as conventional seated transfers, the sling can be used when lifting a person from a recumbent position on the floor. Its polyester net construction makes it a practical option where a breathable, quick-draining sling material is preferred.
Seven sizes are offered, from XXS through to XXL, with recommended user weight ranges to help select an appropriate fit. The sling has a maximum safe working load of 300kg (47.2 st).
