High Back Net Sling

The High Back Net Sling provides extensive support for users who require additional stability around the upper body and head during lifting. Unlike low back transfer slings, it supports from the tailbone upwards and over the head, as well as underneath the legs, helping maintain a secure, slightly reclined seated posture throughout the transfer.

Its polyester net construction makes the sling particularly useful for bathing and showering. Water can drain readily through the open material, while the increased airflow helps the sling dry more quickly and reduces heat build-up. This can also make the net fabric more comfortable when circumstances require the sling to remain in position for longer periods.

The leg sections are deliberately non-reinforced, giving them a softer and more flexible feel. They conform more readily around the legs with less bulk than reinforced supports, helping reduce concentrated areas of pressure while still providing the support required during lifting.

For users requiring greater head stability, removable plastic stays can be inserted to add rigidity to the head section. This allows carers to adapt the level of support according to individual requirements rather than using a permanently rigid head support.

Divided leg sections simplify positioning and removal, so the sling does not need to remain underneath the user following a transfer. Its versatile design can be used for everyday seated transfers, such as between a bed and wheelchair, as well as lifting a person from a flat or recumbent position on the floor.

Seven sizes are available from XXS to XXL, each with an appropriate recommended user weight range. All sizes have a safe working load of 300kg (47.2 st).
