Product Details
The Low Back Sling is a versatile patient lifting sling designed for common seated transfers, such as moving between a bed and wheelchair. Its low-back design is intended for users who have sufficient torso stability and do not require additional support around the upper back or head.
Support extends from the tailbone up to the armpits and underneath the legs, helping maintain an upright seated posture during lifting and transferring. Divided leg sections make the sling easier for a carer to position and remove, while also meaning the user does not need to remain seated on the sling after the transfer is complete.
Made from durable polyester, this version is particularly suited to general-purpose transfer situations where a conventional fabric sling is appropriate. A useful pocket along the lower edge assists the carer when positioning the sling behind the user.
Seven sizes are available, from XXS through to XXL, accommodating a broad range of recommended user weights. Every size has a safe working load of 300kg (47.2 st), although the recommended user weight for the individual sling size should be followed when selecting the most appropriate option.
