The Select In-Situ Sling is a general-purpose, hammock-style hoist sling designed for long-term comfort and secure support. Made from breathable spacer fabric, it is suitable for extended use beneath the patient, minimising the need for frequent repositioning. This sling is ideal for individuals who can support their own head, including many amputee users.
Its design incorporates a centre pommel for added safety, individually coloured hoisting loops for precise, symmetrical lifting, and convenient storage pockets for the straps—particularly helpful during wheelchair use. Compatible with loop-fixing hoist systems, the Select In-Situ Sling is available in five sizes to suit a wide range of body types.
Tested to British and European standards and featuring a safe working load of 203kg (32 stone), it offers a trusted, durable solution for care homes, hospitals, and domestic care.
