Product Details
The Stretcher Sling is designed for horizontal transfers where the user needs to remain in a lying position throughout the lift. Used with a compatible mobile or stationary lift system and the SystemRoMedic StretcherBar, it provides support along the entire body and is suitable for users weighing up to 300kg (47.2 st).
Ten suspension points are positioned along the sling, with five lift straps on either side of the body. This arrangement distributes support evenly from head to foot, helping the user feel secure and supported during horizontal lifting while also making the sling straightforward for the carer to apply and remove.
Two material options are available to suit different care requirements. The reusable version is made from polyester, while the disposable Stretcher Sling uses a sturdy non-woven material for short-term, single-user use and is supplied in packs of 5. Rather than being laundered, the disposable sling should be discarded when it becomes soiled or is no longer required, helping reduce the risk of cross-contamination in environments where infection control is particularly important.
Both versions are supplied in one size and are intended for use with the specially designed SystemRoMedic StretcherBar.
