The Dorsal Resting Hand Orthosis is a support that is worn around the wrist and hand.
It is suitable for treating contractures and spasticity, making it useful for people who have suffered head injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVA and those with neurological conditions.
A Kydex plastic shell is used to keep the hand in the correct alignment, and finger separators promote abduction.
The shell can be heat moulded to fit each individual.
With a soft foam liner, the Dorsal Resting Hand Orthosis is comfortable to use, aiding in patient compliance.
This liner is also breathable to reduce uncomfortable moisture and heat accumulation, and it can be removed for washing.
Secure straps hold the Dorsal Resting Hand Orthosis in position.
