Product Details
This Extended Thumb Spica/Splint consists of a thermoplastic splint with a plastazote inner lining.
The splint can be heat moulded to fit the contours of each individual's wrist, and the lining is soft to promote comfort and compliance.
The combination of an elasticated strap and two hook and loop fasteners ensures the Spica stays securely in place.
When worn, the Extended Thumb Spica/Splint limits the amount of flexion and extension that can be performed by the thumb.
This makes it useful for that have suffered injuries and those who are post surgery.
It can also help with long-term conditions such as arthritis, tendonitis and joint instabilities.
Sizes
Small: wrist circumference less than 6 ¾ inches (17cm).
Medium: wrist circumference 6¾ to 7½ inches (17 - 19cm).
Large: wrist circumference greater than 7½ inches (19cm).
