Product Details

The Washington Tilt in Space Shower Cradle is designed for individuals with severe physical disabilities, degenerative neurological conditions and complex postural needs. Suitable for users with conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy and Motor Neurone Disease, it provides full-body support during showering while helping to improve comfort, safety and dignity.

The padded cradle supports the user in a reclined position, with adjustable fabric tension and supportive side wings helping to achieve appropriate positioning.

Twin gas rams to ensure to ensure a reliable operation and allow the cradle to be smoothly adjusted between 5° and 35°. This enables carers to find the most comfortable and clinically appropriate position while reducing physical strain during washing and personal care.

Manufactured from coated stainless steel, the frame is strong, corrosion resistant and designed for long-term use in wet environments. The silver anti-microbial coating helps reduce bacterial contamination, making the cradle particularly suitable for care homes, hospitals and specialist care settings. Four braked castors allow the cradle to be moved easily and secured safely during use.

Available in Small, Medium and Large sizes, the Washington Tilt in Space Shower Cradle can also be customised with a range of optional accessories including lap straps, side rails, support cushions, harnesses and apertures.

A Paediatric version is also available in this category.
