Product Details

This Shower Chair provides a safe and comfortable seated option for people who find it difficult to stand for long periods while washing. Sitting while showering can help reduce the risk of slips and falls on wet surfaces and make personal care tasks easier and less tiring.

The seat is shaped for comfort and made from easy-to-clean polyethylene, with drainage holes in the backrest to allow water to run through. Integrated hand grips on the backrest help the user or caregiver with positioning. The extra-wide seat provides more room and support for larger users.

The aluminium frame keeps the chair lightweight while remaining strong and stable. It is anodised for resistance in wet environments and fitted with rubber ferrules on the feet to help prevent movement and protect the shower tray or floor.

The height can be adjusted to help the user find a comfortable and safe sitting position.

    Bought for the wife when she comes out of hospital after a knee replacement. not used yet but is ideal for the purpose - can’t have the wife standing on one leg in the shower trying to balance while she showers!

    The contour shower seat was very easy to assemble and fits within our standard sized shower cubicle. I think it's actually better than the one it was replacing, it's sturdier, and the handles are useful. Very good value for money. I'd give it 4.5 out of 5. As usual, the delivery was prompt.
