The Aston Tilt-in-Space Shower Commode Chair is designed for people who require additional postural support during washing and toileting. Its tilt-in-space mechanism allows a carer to smoothly recline the entire seating position through a range of 0-30°, helping support the occupant while providing easier access for assisted washing and hair care.

Offering three-in-one functionality, the chair can be used in the shower, positioned over most conventional or accessible toilets, or used independently with the supplied removable potty and lid. A padded horseshoe-shaped seat provides comfortable support while retaining access for personal care, and a removable aperture cover can be fitted when required.

An adjustable headrest supports the head and neck when the chair is tilted, while the supplied waist belt provides additional security. Flip-up armrests facilitate side transfers and give carers improved access, with swing-away footrests and folding footplates creating additional space when getting into or out of the chair.

Four braked castors allow the Aston to be manoeuvred around the bathroom and secured when stationary. The castor positions can also be adjusted to alter the chair height. Made from aluminium with polyurethane upholstery and stainless-steel fasteners, it is well suited to regular bathroom use and can be wiped or hosed down with a mild detergent for straightforward cleaning.
