Product Details
The Freeway T60 Shower Chair with Horseshoe Seat is a highly versatile and practical self-propelled chair, designed for use in the shower, as a toilet, or as a commode. Part of the Freeway range, this shower chair prioritises top-notch quality, durability, and hygiene. It's crafted to address the needs of a broad range of users, ensuring both comfort and practicality in every situation.
Built from strong, heavy-duty steel tubing, the Freeway T60's frame is exceptionally sturdy and resilient, featuring a waterproof nylon coating that provides a sleek and glossy appearance. This construction ensures the shower chair remains rust-free even in wet conditions and can support users weighing up to 200kg (30 stone), making it suitable for various individuals.
The chair features a generously padded horseshoe seat that enhances hygiene and ease of cleaning, along with a backrest made from flame-retardant, durable, and easy-to-clean material, ensuring long-lasting comfort. For improved mobility and stability, the chair is equipped with large-diameter, high-quality wheels that are water-resistant, allowing smooth movement over uneven surfaces and shower thresholds.
Freeway shower chairs are mostly used to shower and wheel over a toilet. To use as a standalone commode you will need to buy the Oval Pan (EA27901) which is sold separately.
Designed with caregivers in mind, the T60 Shower Chair includes horizontal push handles, padded armrests, and footrests as standard, making it easier for caregivers to assist users safely and comfortably. This shower chair is available in various seat sizes to ensure a perfect fit for all users.
