Product Details

The Langham Adjustable Chair Raiser provides a simple and practical way to increase the height of many types of chairs, helping users who find it difficult to lower themselves into or rise from low seating. By raising the chair to a more comfortable height, it can help reduce strain on the hips, knees and joints during transfers.

The raiser consists of four heavy-duty moulded plastic blocks connected by sturdy wooden slats, creating a stable platform for the chair to sit on. Its adjustable design allows the height to be altered between 5cm and 10cm by adding or removing the plastic blocks, making it easy to tailor the seating height to the user's needs.

Suitable for a wide range of chair sizes, the Langham Adjustable Chair Raiser is secured using wing-nut fasteners that tighten against the chair frame, helping to keep it firmly in place during use. With a high weight capacity, it is suitable for many domestic and care environments.

    The chair raisers have been a really effective addition. They provide the extra height needed to make sitting down and standing up much easier, and they feel stable and secure in daily use. Overall, i’m very happy with them — they work exactly as intended and make a noticeable difference in comfort and independence.

    Just the job, easy to fix to chair lifts it just enough to make getting up so much easier, unlike the separate blocks we have used these make the chair more stable when using the arms to push up.
