Product Details
These Dual Control Teaching Scissors have been developed under consultation with Occupational Therapists and have been manufactured for children who find it difficult to use conventional scissors.
This may be because of a lack of strength or dexterity, poor visual-motor coordination or because of a tremor.
The Dual Control Training Scissors enable the assistant to guide the scissors, while enabling the user to have an input.
Gradually they are able to take more control themselves.
The scissors have a comfy grip because of the broad finger contact area.
They are colour coded to identify at a glance whether they're right handed (blue) or left handed (green).
Made with stainless steel, the Dual Control Training Scissors are available with pointed or rounded blades.
Also ideal for use in Early Years settings to teach the opening/closing action of scissor skills.
