The Aquatec Ocean Dual VIP Ergo Shower Commode Chair is the most advanced model within the Ocean Ergo range, developed for users who require enhanced postural management and for carers who need precise, controlled positioning. Combining tilt-in-space with independent backrest recline, it offers a high level of adaptability for complex care environments.
The seat tilt function moves smoothly from -5° to 40°, allowing effective pressure redistribution and improved hygiene positioning. The entire seating system tilts downwards and forwards into the base frame, keeping the user’s centre of gravity aligned with the chair. This design makes tilting lighter and more intuitive for carers, while maintaining excellent stability.
In addition, the Dual VIP Ergo features a backrest recline from 5° to 35°, enabling more customised positioning for users with higher dependency needs. This dual adjustment capability supports comfort during showering and toileting, assists with fatigue management, and helps accommodate changing clinical requirements.
