Ideal for people living with Alzheimer's or dementia, this 2 in 1 Dementia Day Clock simplifies the time to a time/calendar format or simply the day of the week along with the period of the day. For example, it can display the day, time and date or it can display, "Now its Monday morning".
You can easily switch between the two displays at the push of a button.
There are 4 standard periods during the day: Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Night. The timings of each of these periods is completely customisable. If your evening starts at 6pm and ends at 10pm, you can set it to that. The default settings are Morning - 7am to 12 noon, Afternoon - 12 noon to 5pm, Evening - 5pm to 10pm, Night - 10pm to 7am.
The clock will automatically dim when the Night period starts to reduce its brightness making it perfect for use in a bedroom. The dimmer ends when the Morning period begins.
Please note that this clock will not update automatically when the clocks change twice a year but please be assured that it easy to adjust the time.
