The Penguin Bath Seat from trusted rehabilitation specialist R82 is an ergonomically designed bathing support for children who require additional postural support in the bath. By supporting the head and trunk in a stable position, it allows carers to bathe the child more easily while keeping both hands free. At the same time, the open design leaves the arms and legs free to move naturally, making bath time more comfortable, engaging and enjoyable.
The seat features an adjustable abduction block that can be repositioned to suit the individual child's size and positioning needs, helping to provide a more personalised fit as they grow. This thoughtful design encourages a comfortable bathing posture without unnecessarily restricting movement, allowing children to relax and spend longer in the bath when appropriate.
Multiple suction cups on the underside secure the bath seat firmly to most smooth bath surfaces, providing excellent stability throughout use. Despite its robust construction, the seat is lightweight enough to remove, reposition and store with ease. It is suitable for use in most standard bathtubs and is also fully compatible with the R82 Orca Bathtub, available separately or as part of a package package.
