This is the latest version of the Police Preferred Personal Alarm with Torch is the UK’s loudest personal protection alarm with a 140 decibel siren.
As well as the loud siren, this alarm features an integral bright strobe light to further attract attention when activated.
The alarm can also be used as a handy torch making it a very useful accessory when going out. To use as a torch, simply press in the button on the side of the unit.
To operate the alarm, simply pull the ripcord pin out of the socket. To stop the alarm sounding, replace the ripcord pin into the socket on the top of the alarm.
Due to its durable ABS housing and the ripcord attachment, this aid can be used as a bag alarm or mounted on a wall via the provided bracket to allow for an entrance alarm.
The alarm can be used to protect a bag: simply place the alarm inside the bag and use the g-clip provided to hook onto your clothing (e.g. a belt loop or pocket). If the bag is taken, the pin will be removed from the alarm and the siren will activate.
To utilise as a panic alarm, affix the bracket to your wall with the screws provided and slot the alarm in or out as desired via the rear clip. Ensure your ripcord is hanging freely for easy-use.
