The FireAngel Five Year Optical Smoke Alarm with Escape Light is designed to provide early warning of fire while also helping illuminate a safe exit route. The built-in escape light activates alongside the alarm, helping guide occupants through hallways or landings during an emergency.
Using optical sensing technology, the alarm detects smoke as it enters the chamber, making it particularly effective at identifying slow burning or smouldering fires that produce thick white smoke. This helps reduce the likelihood of nuisance alarms compared to some other detection methods.
Powered by replaceable AA batteries, the alarm offers long-lasting performance and includes a low battery warning to alert when replacement is required. A loud 85dB alarm helps ensure occupants are clearly alerted when smoke is detected.
Suitable for installation on walls or ceilings, the alarm is ideal for use in areas such as hallways, landings and bedrooms. It is also suitable for use in leisure accommodation vehicles.
