The Richmond Adjustable Single Divan Bed is the standard single-sized model in the Restwell Richmond Electric Adjustable Divan Bed range, designed to deliver comfort, style, and versatility in everyday use. Built in Britain to the highest standards, it combines a strong, upholstered divan base with modern electric adjustability for the perfect balance of practicality and relaxation.
Powered by a smooth and ultra-quiet electric motor, the bed is easily controlled using a simple five-button handset. With just a touch of a button, the user can independently adjust the head, back, hips, knees, and feet, creating the most comfortable position for sleeping, reading, watching television, or relaxing. The adjustability also provides valuable support when getting in and out of bed.
The Richmond Adjustable Single Divan Bed supports the body across five key areas – knees, hips, back, neck, and head – helping to reduce pressure, relieve aches and pains, and promote healthier posture. This makes it particularly suitable for those managing conditions such as arthritis, rheumatism, back pain, or mobility-related challenges.
To ensure lasting comfort, the bed incorporates 42 flexible slats that respond to movement and distribute weight evenly across the frame. This thoughtful design improves support and helps encourage a deeper, more restorative night’s sleep.
For added reassurance, the bed includes a built-in battery back-up system (batteries not included), so it can always be returned to a flat position during a power cut.
An optional matching headboard is available to complete the bed’s appearance and provide firm support when sitting upright. Ideal for reading, watching TV or simply relaxing, the headboard adds both style and practicality, giving the bed a homely, finished look. The Richmond range can be purchased as a divan only, with the headboard, or as a full set with the headboard and a Pocket Sprung, Reflex Foam or Memory Foam mattress, allowing you to choose the combination that best suits your needs.
