The Richmond Adjustable Small Double Divan Bed is the small double-sized model in the Restwell Richmond Electric Adjustable Divan Bed range. Combining the elegance of a traditionally crafted divan with the practicality of modern electric adjustability, it offers extra space while maintaining all the comfort and quality expected from a British-made bed.
Built on a strong and stylish upholstered divan base, the Richmond is powered by a smooth, ultra-quiet motor, operated by a simple five-button handset. With just a touch, the user can independently adjust the head, back, hips, knees, and feet, achieving the most comfortable position for sleeping, reading, watching television, or relaxing. The adjustable functions can also provide valuable assistance when getting in and out of bed.
The Richmond Adjustable Small Double Bed supports the body across five key areas – knees, hips, back, neck, and head – to help relieve aches and pains, ease pressure, and improve posture. This makes it a practical choice for those living with arthritis, rheumatism, back pain, or other mobility-related conditions.
To ensure lasting comfort, the bed incorporates 42 flexible slats that adjust naturally to movement and distribute weight evenly. This enhances support, reduces pressure points, and encourages a more restful night’s sleep.
For added safety and reassurance, the Richmond is equipped with a built-in battery back-up system (batteries not included), ensuring the bed can always be returned to a flat position in the event of a power cut.
An optional matching headboard is also available, providing a smart, homely finish and giving firm, comfortable support when sitting upright – perfect for reading, watching TV or relaxing. The Richmond range can be purchased as a divan only, with the headboard, or as a complete set with the headboard and a Pocket Sprung, Reflex Foam or Memory Foam mattress, allowing you to choose the combination that best suits your needs.
