The mattress features a castellated foam surface that helps redistribute pressure and reduce peak loading, supporting comfort during prolonged periods in bed. An extremely comfortable foam inner works alongside structured U-shaped side formers, which help improve patient stability and make transfers in and out of bed easier and safer. This design supports both user comfort and carer handling.

A multi-stretch, vapour permeable cover supports infection control while allowing the mattress to contour effectively to the user. Welded, non-penetrable seams help prevent fluid ingress and make cleaning straightforward. Clinically trialled and designed for demanding care environments, the Sphynx mattress offers a dependable solution for very high risk pressure care.
