The Apollo Saturn Low Rotating Bed is designed to make getting into and out of bed easier for people with reduced mobility while promoting greater independence. Combining a fully electric profiling bed with a powered rotating chair function, it gently guides the user from a lying position to sitting before rotating to assist with standing and transfers. It is an ideal solution for users who can bear weight but require additional support during everyday movements.
For the rotating transfer function to be used safely, the user must be able to place both feet on the floor from a seated position and be weight bearing. The Apollo Saturn Low is intended for users below 157cm (5'2") tall. Users who are 157cm (5'2") or taller should use the standard Apollo Saturn Rotating Profiling Bed.
Available in left-hand or right-hand rotation options, the bed can be selected to suit the room layout and the user's preferred transfer side. The rotating and tilting mechanism helps reduce the effort involved in getting out of bed, providing reassurance for both users and carers while encouraging greater confidence and independence.
As well as its rotating function, the Saturn Low offers full electric profiling with adjustable backrest, thigh and calf sections to create comfortable positions for resting, reading or receiving care. Enhanced lateral support promotes a more stable sitting position, while integrated auto-regression technology helps minimise pressure and shear as the bed is profiled.
The bed is supplied complete with a high-risk pressure-relieving mattress, providing a comprehensive care solution straight away. A fitted sheet is also included as standard, allowing the bed to be used immediately after installation. The mattress features a breathable multi-stretch cover that is comfortable, easy to clean and designed to support skin integrity. Suitable for home care, the Apollo Saturn Low Rotating Bed offers an excellent combination of comfort, pressure care and assisted transfers to improve everyday quality of life.
N.B. Left and Right options are based on your perspective while lying in the bed.
