The Apollo Super Low Profiling Bed is designed for people with limited mobility or an increased risk of falling from bed. Its standout feature is the exceptionally low 10cm (3.9") minimum platform height, positioning the user much closer to floor level to help reduce the potential consequences of a fall.

Despite its super-low design, the bed retains comprehensive electric profiling functions. The backrest, knee break, platform height and tilt can be adjusted to provide comfortable positions for sleeping, resting and receiving care. The platform can be raised as high as 70cm (27.6"), allowing carers to work at a more suitable height when required.

Auto-regression helps reduce pressure around the sacral area as the backrest is raised, while the auto-contour function assists with positioning and helps prevent the user sliding towards the foot of the bed. Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg adjustment provide further positioning flexibility.

An important safety feature is the integrated safety-stop mechanism. When lowering below 30cm (11.8"), the bed stops automatically and requires a separate control to be activated before continuing down to its 10cm minimum height. This additional step helps reduce the risk of entrapment when the bed is being lowered.

For taller users, an integral 15cm (5.9") extension increases the mattress platform length from 198cm to 213cm. Lockable castors provide secure positioning, while the bed's combination of safety and electric adjustment makes it suitable for hospitals, care homes and community care environments.
