The Apollo Ultra Low Profiling Bed is designed for people who require a safer sleeping environment due to an increased risk of falls. Its key feature is the ultra-low mattress platform, which can be lowered to just 7cm (2.8") from floor level, helping to minimise the potential consequences of a fall while still providing the functionality of a fully electric profiling care bed.

Electric adjustment of the backrest, knee break, platform height and tilt allows the bed to be repositioned for sleeping, resting and everyday care. It can also be raised to 67cm (26.4"), providing a more practical working height for carers when assisting the user or carrying out care tasks.

Auto-regression helps minimise pressure around the sacral area as the bed profiles, while the auto-contour function coordinates positioning to help reduce the tendency for the user to slide towards the foot of the bed. Reverse Trendelenburg adjustment provides further flexibility when a tilted position is required.

Additional protection is provided by a safety-stop system within the handset. The bed cannot be lowered directly to its minimum position during normal operation; a dedicated ground button must be activated to reach the 7cm height. This provides an additional safeguard against accidental lowering and helps reduce the risk of entrapment.

An integrated 15cm (5.9") bed extension increases the mattress platform from 200cm to 215cm in length, providing additional room for taller users without requiring a separate extension accessory. Individually lockable castors provide stability once positioned, while optional side rails and crash mattresses are available where additional safety measures are required.
