SPECIAL OFFER corus 2000 community profiling bed

Product Details

The Corus 2000 is a four-section profiling bed designed to support safety, comfort, and independence for users in community care environments. With a height range of 30cm to 70.5cm, it allows users to get in and out of bed more easily while helping reduce the risk of falls. The height can be adjusted smoothly to suit both the user and the carer, promoting safer transfers and reducing strain during personal care tasks.

The bed’s 4-section profiling platform supports a range of therapeutic positions, helping to improve posture, reduce pressure, support breathing, and assist with daily activities like eating or engaging socially. The auto-regression function on the backrest and knee break helps reduce shear and discomfort when adjusting positions.

The three-quarter folding side rails are designed to safely contain standard mattresses up to 15cm deep. They use a patented locking system and bespoke fittings to ensure they are secure, stable, and easy to use.

The open bed frame makes cleaning and decontamination easier, supporting good hygiene practices. The smooth powder-coated surface resists marks and is easy to wipe down. Moulded hand grips on the frame improve handling during setup or movement and also help protect surrounding walls and furniture.

The bed arrives in four lightweight sections, each weighing under 25kg, making it easier to assemble by a single person. It includes integral transport bracket storage to reduce clutter when the bed is in use.

Designed with both the user and carer in mind, the Corus 2000 is tested to IEC 60601-2-52 standards, making it suitable for a range of care environments. Accessories are also available to meet the needs of smaller individuals, ensuring the bed can be adapted for different user requirements.

N.B. mattress not included.
