SPECIAL OFFER matrix u24 profiling bed

Product Details

The Matrix U24 Profiling Bed combines extensive electric positioning with a low-height design to support both patient comfort and day-to-day clinical care. Lowering to just 24cm (9.4") from the floor can help minimise the potential consequences of a fall for vulnerable users, while the platform rises to 78cm (30.7") to provide a practical working height for carers and healthcare professionals.

Electric adjustment allows the backrest, leg and foot sections to be positioned independently, making it easier to achieve comfortable positions for resting, sleeping and treatment. Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positioning of up to 18° further increases its versatility for clinical care, while the available cardiac chair position provides additional support for upright positioning.

Safety is built into the Matrix U24, with collapsible side rails designed to reduce the risk of falls and entrapment while maintaining convenient access to the bed. Individual functions can be selectively locked using the supervisor controls, helping carers prevent inappropriate adjustments without disabling essential emergency functions. Manual CPR handles are also provided for rapid repositioning when required.

The bed uses a robust lifting system powered by twin Linak linear motors, with a safe working load of 250kg (39.4 st). A central braking system makes it straightforward to secure the bed in position, while the low-profile wheel arrangement helps the platform achieve its particularly low minimum height.

For easier infection control, the Matrix U24 features durable HDPE medical-grade components with smooth surfaces and removable panels to minimise areas where dirt can accumulate. Protective coverings and shock-resistant components further contribute to its suitability for demanding care environments.

A handheld controller provides convenient access to positioning functions, while supervisor controls at the foot of the bed allow healthcare staff to retain overall control.
