The Woburn Profiling Bed with Side Rails is designed to provide a dependable and easy-to-use solution for both users and carers. Its electrically adjustable functions allow the backrest, knee break, and height to be controlled via a handset, helping to achieve a comfortable and supportive position throughout the day.
The height range allows the bed to be lowered for easier access or raised to a suitable working level, supporting safer transfers and reducing strain during care. The backrest and thigh rest can be adjusted to assist with positioning for rest, feeding, or general comfort.
Wooden side rails are included and can be lowered below mattress level when not required, or raised to provide added protection. They are designed to accommodate a deeper mattress, allowing greater flexibility when choosing pressure care solutions.
The bed operates on a low-voltage system, reducing electrical risk, and includes an emergency battery back-up to ensure continued function in the event of a power cut. A lockable handset helps prevent unintended adjustments, particularly useful in shared or care environments.
