The Alerta Sensaflex 250 is a pressure relief cushion designed to provide support and protection for individuals at high risk of developing pressure ulcers. Suitable for hospitals, care homes, and home environments, it offers enhanced comfort and pressure redistribution during extended periods of sitting.

The cushion is made from memory foam, which moulds to the user’s body shape to distribute weight more evenly. This helps to reduce pressure on vulnerable areas such as the hips and lower back, while also providing a high level of comfort and postural support.

It features a multi-stretch polyurethane (PU) cover that moves with the body to reduce friction and shear forces. The cover is both vapour permeable and water resistant, allowing airflow to the skin while protecting the cushion from spills and moisture. For added hygiene, the cover is antimicrobial, machine washable, and includes a white underside to assist with quick identification of any contamination.
