The Apollo Memo-Pad Cushion is designed to deliver enhanced pressure relief and seating support for people who spend prolonged periods sitting. Suitable for users at high risk of pressure damage, it combines a three-layer foam construction with temperature-sensitive visco-elastic foam to provide excellent comfort and effective pressure redistribution.
The upper visco-elastic foam layer responds to body heat and weight, gently moulding to the user's contours to increase the contact area between the body and the cushion. This helps spread pressure more evenly across vulnerable areas while providing a stable and supportive seating surface. The three-layer construction balances immersion, comfort and support, making the cushion well suited to long-term everyday use.
A waterproof, vapour-permeable multi-stretch cover allows the cushion to move naturally with the user while helping to maintain skin integrity. High-frequency welded seams and a concealed zip reduce the risk of fluid ingress, while the removable cover can be machine washed at up to 95°C for effective hygiene management in home care, community care and healthcare settings.
