The Wireless Mat Call System is designed to provide reliable, discreet monitoring for people at risk of leaving a bed or chair unassisted. It alerts a carer or family member when movement is detected, helping reduce the risk of falls while allowing the user to retain as much independence as possible. The system works via a pressure mat placed on a bed or chair and a wireless transmitter that sends a signal to a portable pager when pressure is removed. To help prevent unnecessary alerts, the transmitter offers two alert settings, allowing either an immediate alarm or a short delay to avoid false activations caused by repositioning. The wireless pager operates within a 30 metre range and provides audible, vibrating, or combined alerts, supported by a flashing light for clear notification.

Designed with carer reassurance in mind, the pager includes a broken-link indicator so the caregiver is alerted if the connection to the transmitter is lost or out of range. The pager is rechargeable and supplied with a charging dock, belt clip, and cable, making it easy to carry throughout the day. The transmitter can be wall mounted if required and runs on standard batteries, keeping the system simple and flexible to set up.
