Product Details

The FireAngel One Year Optical Smoke Alarm is designed to provide reliable smoke detection and early warning in the event of a fire. Using optical sensing technology, the alarm detects smoke particles as they enter the chamber, making it particularly effective at identifying slow-burning or smouldering fires that produce thick smoke.

Battery powered operation allows the alarm to be installed easily without wiring, making it suitable for a wide range of locations around the home. The unit can be mounted on either a wall or ceiling depending on the layout of the room.

A built-in test and silence button allows users to check the alarm is working correctly and temporarily silence the alarm if needed. The alarm produces a loud 85dB warning sound to ensure it can be clearly heard throughout the home.

The device includes a replaceable 9V battery and features a low battery warning to alert users when replacement is required. Independently tested and certified to recognised safety standards, the FireAngel SB1-R offers dependable protection and straightforward installation.
